Further details
The award-winning chat show The Last Leg returns live to prime-time Friday nights with a joyful, off beat take on the week, that aims to celebrate all that is best about Britain.
Throughout the Paralympic Games host Adam Hills alongside co-hosts Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker won plaudits and critical acclaim for their unique take on the event. Now they return to provide the same intelligent and alternative commentary on the significant moments of the past seven days, as well as pulling out the hidden gems, and weird and wonderful talking point stories of the week to enjoy and celebrate what makes this country so unique.
A live studio audience and celebrity guests will join in with Adam, Alex and Josh on the Last Leg sofa, as the gang tackle the issues of the week. The show sees the return of the all-encompassing question that brought so much attention through the Paralympic Games: 'Is It Ok?' Viewers at home and the live studio audience will be encouraged to ask this question about anything from the week, without fear of judgement. Once again, our three hosts will attempt to step into the minefield of sometimes difficult and delicate areas and answer the questions with their own unique insight.
The Last Leg will also incorporate live studio challenges and VTs each week, including following Alex Brooker continuing his quest to reach the Paralympics in Rio 2016 as a participant.
The studio based discussions will be lively, and the opinions offered up warm and wholly original, as our regular panel and celebrity guests wrap up the last seven days with their very particular take on The Last Leg.
Notes
This episode was originally listed as starting on the 18th January, but the series was put back a week after the listings magazines had already gone to print. Adam Hills said on Twitter it was due to 'personal reasons'. Channel 4 showed an extended-length 8 Out Of 10 Cats on the 18th instead. There were no end credits shown on this episode.
