Strange Hill High

Following the breakdown of a swathe of antiquated equipment, the school board gives Strange Hill a full high-tech makeover, complete with CCTV-like monitoring, computerised dispensers and robotic teachers. But all is a little too perfect for Mitchell, Becky and Templeton's tastes.

Once the world's most advanced computer (in the 50s), Maths instructor NIMROD has been relegated to teaching unappreciative kids at an inner city school.

Irritatingly logical and with a mighty 12k memory, NIMROD thinks he can outsmart the students, but he's never faced Mitchell, who sets out to give him a total breakdown. Literally.

Soon, NIMROD and the other old machines are replaced by slick new ones, as well as CCTV-like cameras. But then delinquents like Tyson suddenly become perfectly behaved and the school finally seems to be running in an efficient lockstep.

It all seems too perfect to Mitchell, Becky and Templeton and the secret they uncover - with the help of the disgraced NIMROD - is shocking.
