Further details

Dot, Zoë's mother turns up at Alec and Zoë's and announces she has left her husband as he cares more about his Fruit and Veg than he does about her. Alec at first enjoys having his mother-in-law about the house as she keeps it clean and has dinner ready for him when he gets home.

Zoë however finds it irritating and decides that she and Alec have to try and reconcile her parents. Alec goes round to see his father-in-law and tries to get him to win his wife back but Zoë's dad can't see what he's done wrong and thinks she should apologise to him.
