Series 1, Episode 3

Murray does his best to assist Bex as she organises a charity fundraiser for a new CT scanner at the hospital.

Further details

Curtis forces Murray to attend a work meeting to discuss financing an event which Bex is arranging. Bex is not thrilled to see him and things get worse when Murray has to explain that the bank won't be able to provide additional funding.

When local businessman Julian steps in and offers her the money, Bex is delighted. Murray tries to win her attention back by coming up with a show-stopping fundraising idea for the auction.

On the evening of the appeal Murray is determined to make it a success for Bex. All is going well until his fundraising idea falls through, and as a last-minute solution, Bex - unwillingly - steps in to be auctioned as a dinner date. Julian, who is clearly interested in Bex, begins to bid on her and it soon becomes a two-horse race between him and Murray. Who will win?
