David Jason will share secrets from the Only Fools And Horses' Christmas specials in a festive documentary for Channel 5, British Comedy Guide can exclusively reveal.

Also featuring Tessa Peake-Jones, who played Del Boy's wife Raquel, the 90-minute film, with the working title The Story Of Only Fools And Horses At Christmas, will air on Christmas Eve and combines interviews with cast and crew and classic clips from the sitcom's Yuletide episodes.

Reflecting on To Hull And Back, the festive episode featuring an oil rig that reputedly contains the most expensive joke in the BBC's history, the documentary will also disclose which special drastically ran over in its filming schedule because Jason kept corpsing, costing the corporation a massive amount of money.

Viewers will also learn how a shower cap inspired one of the show's most iconic moments. And Jason will reveal which of the sitcom's 20 Christmas episodes is his personal favourite.

Also sharing their appreciation will be celebrity fans of the show, including John Sergeant, Theo Paphitis, Sherrie Hewson, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and others.
