Series 2, Episode 2 - Think Fast, Father Ted

With the parochial house falling apart, Ted decides it's time to raise some money, and it seems that a raffle is the best way to do it. Pulling in a favour from Bishop Brennan, he secures a car as the top prize...

Further details

Father Ted decides to raise some money to fix their leaking roof by running a raffle; all he needs is a decent prize. Luckily, Bishop Brennan stumps up for a brand new car. Unluckily, Ted trashes it almost immediately, before it can be raffled.

Faced with the choice of replacing the car or being murdered by Bishop Brennan, Ted hatches a fiendish plan. What if they borrowed Father Finnegan's car to use as the prize, then fixed the raffle so they won the car back?

Perhaps unsurprisingly, things don't work out quite to plan...
