Kerry Godliman has fast become a household name thanks to her roles in popular shows such as After Life, Save Me and Our Girl, however, she very nearly ditched acting.

Monday night shows will start on August 17 with Rob Beckett, followed by Jimmy Carr (Aug 24) and Russell Brand (Sept 14) and Kerry Godliman, Judi Love and Russell Kane on Sept 21. Two further gigs will take place on September 7 at 6pm and 9pm and will feature Suzi Ruffell, Sindhu Vee, Olga Koch and Gabby Best with more names to be announced - the shows will have different line-ups.

I thought the first season was brilliant and had potential to develop plots further, but I also wondered how Ricky Gervais could expand upon the first season's rather conclusive ending. Nevertheless, once the highly-anticipated wait was over, I involuntarily binge-watched season two, and I have to say the show has been taken to new heights.
