Adam Hills: Nightly Show should stick with 1 presenter

Comedian and TV presenter Adam Hills has said ITV's struggling The Nightly Show might be down to changing hosts every week.

Events in the world have rather overtaken The Last Leg. Such is the madness of unfolding news in the United States and in our own parliament, there seems to be no shortage of quality special guests - David Tennant or Russell Brand, say - turning up to voice an opinion on the carnage. This week's guest is still under wraps, but host Adam Hills, assisted by Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe, will be passing comment on the latest news events.

The boys are back - namely Josh Widdicombe, Alex Brooker and esteemed host Adam Hills - for a new series of The Last Leg, following their sterling work covering the 2016 Paralympic Games from Rio. For this inaugural episode of 2017, the team are joined by the Broadchurch and former Doctor Who star David Tennant, who is on hand to assist in their comic summation of the week's news, plus handling some of the standard #isitok tweets from viewers.

Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker offer up some pre-Christmas punch as the team look back over the year, and forward to the festive season. Grayson Perry brushes mince pie crumbs from the spare seat to join the Leggers as they sift through 2016's nice and naughty lists.
