BBC Comedy College Page 34

Yep, it seems to be freezing when I try to post a comment:

Unfortunately a server error occured whilst trying to retrieve this page: http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-perl/mt/mt-comments.cgi
We are currently working to correct this

I tried to post and an error notice came up.

Well I didn't bother to apply because I didn't meet the criteria. Otherwise I would've got through to the final six!

I meant, I tried to post a comment on the blog but got an error notice.

I would love to see a Charlie Kaufman sitcom.

There are a couple of his unmade sitcom scripts around, which should be downloadable unless he's had them taken down.

I'm told the BBC blog machine is being upgraded - which I didn't know when I asked people to post there. Sorry. I hope it will be working tomorrow.

Yes, on the Charlie Kaufman sitcom front I do know he contributed episodes to 'Get A Life'- early 90's sitcom starring the incredible Chris Elliott. Check it out on YouTube if anyone's interested. Fantastically silly. There are scripts on Drew's Script-o-Rama too. I noticed that Tony Dow directed episode(s).

Wow, thanks both of you!
I had no idea.

Blog upsdate - sigh. Apparently existing posts can't now have comments added, but I hope to get one up on Monday which should be commentable on.

Just looked at the blog - is poor old Michael going to have to read all 1300 entries himself? That seems like an excessively cruel punishment, even for somebody who's been involved in Two Pints.

I have indeed read every entry. I am now very tired.

Relaxing with low lives! That's what we're here for.

Licence payers money in action, ladies and gentlemen.

Should we even be discussing this, isn't it prejudicial?

(Just joking.)

Maybe someone from BBC editorial policy can clear this up. And was there any mention of a premium rate number to call? And if you called it after the deadline did you get charged?
