Ah.

Just glanced at the 'Comedy Vehicle' thread, Putters posted 'What is this shit?' So it's safe to assume he doesn't care for Lee either! :D

Yes, that isn't a positive endorsement. As such.

I can think of at least 4 of us.

Weirdly I'm more with Aaron on this one. I want to like the guy but I just can't get past the smarm (and that's coming from one smarmy motherf**ker!)

I look forward to the book.

Oh well, lardy effing dah!

Just don't spoil the ending for me.

The boat sinks.

Also, I don't really know him, I just ordered it off Amazon a few days ago.

Amazon, eh? Now why didn't I think of that.

There's a good quote on the back of the book from The Sun: 'The worst comedian in Britain, as funny as bubonic plague.' :D

Yeah, that's a nice little quirk of his, putting bad critiques of himself on his own materials! Keeps the riff-raff out!

For anyone's who's interested- Stewart Lee's new article thingwee on Chortle about the Comedy Gods poll:

I'm reading his new book at the moment, and in one of the footnotes (P 171), he actually references and writes the link for an interview on this very site:
