The Fall.

No. Not this. I'd put money on it.

From Stewart Lee Myspace page:

"CELEBRITY MASTERMENSCH
Please be advised that my appearance on Celebrity Mastermind is due to be broadcast on Monday 4th January at 1900 on BBC One. My specialist subject is the guitarist Derek Bailey."

There, I've spoiled everybody's fun now.

Don't forget to watch him on Celeb Mastermind tonight. Beeb 1 at 7pm.

Amusing that he got a question on Native Americans, and got it badly wrong.

Was I the only one who expected him to repeat the same answer over and over again, but each time ever more slowly and deliberately?

If only. That would have been ace.

Did he win?

He did. And looked very uncomfortable with it.

He did.

By the skin of his teeth. That was a pretty impressive pass spiral in the general knowledge round.

Yeah, I beat him in that round.

But I didn't know who the *f**k* that guitarist even was, so he won that one...

Saw Stu Lee at the Leicester Square Theatre last night, for the penultimate night of his run there (and the second of two extra dates). Lovely venue, had never been there before.

Great show, and perhaps easy to see why he hasn't been commissioned for a second series of the Vehicle, given the Top Gear slagging! And the (correct) dismissal of other BBC favourites such as McIntyre and Boyle.

I've just voted for him in the next load of Channel 4 100 greatest stand-up voting. Maybe he'll be able to get a new show title out of it!

Details here if you want to vote: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-100-greatest-stand-ups/articles/greatest-stand-ups-of-all-time

Off to the same venue to see Sadowitz next week.

Saw Stu Lee at the Leicester Square Theatre last night,

When I saw him there a few weeks back, I liked how, at the end, he literally sprinted out past everyone before they could get up to go so he could reach the merchandise table in time to try and sign things! He really moved fast for a slightly chubby man.
