I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,408

And it goes on...

Boris Johnson has now changed the rules on the Code of Conduct so minsters don't have to resign if they break the Ministerial Code.
An apology will do.
He's also removed all references to honesty, integrity, transparency and accountability.
And, thus, with a single bound he was free - to do whatever he likes.
If the doesn't worry you then, I'm afraid, you are complicit.

It's not really about Bojo

He is an arsehole and a bloody idiot - nothing he does or says is a surprise

It's his colleagues that are complicit

If enough have them have the decency and sense they can remove this pillock

They are the people really in the spotlight now

They are like the parents of a naughty unruly child

Are they going to let him keep throwing stones at windows?

Or are they going to belt him round the head and send him to bed with no supper

That's a bit strong on Botswana Lazzard.

I said "Millions of other would have had it worse"
Please read the entire post, SG.

At least we moved from "I don't know what you're moaning about" to "I couldn't give a f**k"
That's some progresst.

Look - it's a done (but not exactly oven-ready) deal.
You get to gloat over you're not quite sure what.
I get to moan and point out the stupidity of your actions.
Seems fair.

On a separate note - more leaked photos from those No.10 parties...

Do you really need to resort to badly photo-shopped pictures to supporet your arguement, if so it just proves that yopu are a complete wally spouting the anti-boris propaganda and hence the anti-brexit propaganda.

If you think it's difficult getting Boris to resign (persuade 54 Tories) just imagine what would happen if you wanted Ursula von der Leyen to resign (persuade 26 Governments).

The EU was strangling the UK slowly but surely.

Wait an hour, the anti Boris brigade will post again.
They are like the most sweariest, vitriolic Cuckoo clock in the world.

Once again - not an original thought in your head.
Just sniping.
You're a buffoon, Steve.

You sound like my old History teacher.

Buffoon....don't get ya dander up old boy.

I hope you show us the receipt in October of where you donated your £400 to.
You really wouldn't want to benefit from a government trying to ease the crisis would you.

That's the first time you've actually admitted there's a crisis Stephen , things must be bad if you're worried.

It's not of the government's doing.

How could it be they're to busy throwing parties and slapping the staff around.

More than happy to do that.
Just trying to think of the charity that would most annoy you.
Sorry about the 'Bufoon', by the way - I was still reeling from Bill's idiotic post.

I believe Starmer is still under investigation for having at least one piss-up during lockdown.
But that doesn't count - he's one of the good guys.
Funny though that picture of him with a bottle of beer in his hand, I would have been sure he was a Cointreau type man.
Maybe he was passing it to 'Any ale Ang and hoping she'd drink it instead of doing her usual party trick.

Careful, I might have to retract the 'Bufoon' apology for that spectacular bit of Dead Catting

So, Bill...
Sorry you didn't like the picture.
It's by well known artist/satirist 'Cold War Steve' (not his real name).
Here's some more of his stuff - www.coldwarsteve.com .
I'm sure you'll hate it, but it's clever, if somewhat dark stuff.
A 21st Century Hogarth, if you will.
Whether it proves I'm a wally, I don't know - but he's all the rage with the Kids.

And I'm sorry about the Anti-Boris propaganda/facts - but that's freedom of speech for you.
(Not to be confused with Freedom of Movement, which I know you find confusing.)

If I wanted Ursula Von Der Leyen to resign, you're right, there's absolutely nothing I could do about it.
We're no longer in the EU so we don't get a vote, remember.
If, on the other hand, the EU Parliament who voted her in want to get rid of her for misconduct, there is provision for a vote of censure.
This was about to happen in 1999 - but the President did the decent thing and resigned.
Perhaps he should have re-written the rules, just like Boris did yesterday.

As to your last point, a couple of questions.

1) How exactly was the EU slowly but surely strangling us?
2) Since Brexit and the release of their steely grip, what benefits have you yourself noticed?
