Katherine Cowdrey, The Bookseller, 24th May 2016Rovers: Premier League line-up puts the fun in footie
It makes sense for a football-themed comedy to air not only in the wake of underdog Leicester City's recent fairytale triumph, but also in the fever-pitch build-up to Euro 2016.
Mark Braxton, Radio Times, 24th May 2016Review: S***-faced Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice
There were many in the audience that had seen plays performed like this in such a way before, and it is easy to see why they returned. Magnificent Bastard Productions have produced a winning formula and have expertly refined it to make for a wonderful evening. The entire audience is beaming throughout and roaring with laughter, bowled over by this fantastic cast and their well-honed skills. You just fear for how our shit-faced actor is feeling the morning after, and don't feel a drop of envy at them having to return to the stage the next night with a hideous hangover.

Graham Wray, Radio Times, 24th May 2016James Hamilton Is So Lonely review
In his first solo show, James Hamilton, has created an engagingly watchable character comedy narrative - albeit one which gets rather too bogged down in its convoluted storyline to produce too many laugh-out-loud moments.

David Hutchison, The Stage, 24th May 2016Mark Maier: 'Anti-Semitism is all the rage'
Confessing he's not one of those stand-ups who relishes a heckle, he adds: "Years ago at a gig, some drunken anti-Semitic fool in the audience shouted 'why don't' you f**k off back to Golders Green?' I mumbled something awkward about him being a Nazi but had I had a bit more experience I might have said something mildly amusing like 'you think I can afford to live in Golders Green? Have you seen the prices?'"
Bridget Galton, Ham & High, 24th May 2016Rovers review
Nothing much happens of note in this world, and it's the comedy of contented smiles rather than gut-busing belly laughs. But Rovers is warmly amusing throughout, with a strong whiff of authenticity and characters you like spending time with. "Everyone's really nice, aren't they?" says Sam after meeting the tiny fan club. Yep, Sam, they are.
