Faulty Towers The Dining Experience review

If 'the proof of the pudding is in the eating' then certainly the diners recovering over their cheesecake after the neat ending are enthusiastic to a guest. It lives up to the Experience title but don't go for a relaxing evening out and make sure you start eating as soon as any food arrives in front of you.

Review: Gary Delaney/Andy Robinson

"You look like a big strong man - as strong as a paedophile's password." And with his opening gag, Gary Delaney has shown that he's not a comedian for the easily shocked. His support act, Andy Robinson, is very much a comedian for the easily amused.

No Such Thing as The News - review

Opinions are divided on this no-frills style. Complaints via Twitter that "It's basically a film of a podcast" are countered by others who maintain that this is all part of its charm. In common with Channel 4's The Last Leg, NSTATN uses Twitter as a resource, asking followers to tweet in titbits of news, and acknowledging the contributors of the most entertaining facts by their Twitter handle. The absence of political satire is another aspect which could work in its favour.

A quick word with... Caroline Moran

Okay. Cards on the table. We love Caroline Moran. She's funny, insightful and wears ace hats. And, oh yeah, she co-created and co-wrote one of the freshest and most heart-warming series to hit our screens in years. Raised by Wolves. She's also rocked journalism, theatre and stand-up comedy, so we were delighted when she found a few mins to chat to us about bad advice, the horror of networking and paraphrasing Della...

Why Lisa McGrillis deserves a comedy award ASAP

I'm in love with a socially nightmarish, scatterbrained, generally confused lady called Kelly. She is one of the star characters of BBC2's sitcom Mum, played by Lisa McGrillis - and if you've seen any of the episodes so far you'll probably be pretty infatuated too. If you haven't seen it, you're missing out.
