"A new episode of Miranda?" I thought - but no, apparently it's not.

As I understand it, Miranda (herself) is returning to BBC TV for a one-off 10th-anniversary special get-together with some of the cast of Miranda the sitcom, but it will be the actors being themselves and having a bit of fun along with some special guests.

That will no doubt come as a disappointment to those looking forward to a brand-new Miranda episode and a blessed relief to those who threw up their hands in horror at such a prospect.

Yes, a special about rather than of the show.
