We went to see Stewart Lee's Vegetable Stew Show last week, and we were so impressed! He is "The King of Dry Comedy".
We were on stitches... Vegetable Stew is about crisps, Adrian Chiles (this bit won't be shown on TV), Charity and Stewart Lee's grandfather.
And a great surprise at the end....

Are you refering to 'How not to Grow Up'? Because I hated it, a 40 year old man taking advantage of his 'celebrity' to shag impressionable 20 year olds. Not cool, not funny, very disappointing.
I'm putting off reading it in case it makes me think he's a bit of a twat. (or was one). I think of him as quite a nice guy at the moment. 
I do want to read it eventually though.
I am reading Stew's book and am about 200 pages in. Admittedly, it may have come across that I am a massive fan at some point; however, it is the funniest thing I have ever read. Even funnier than those Red Dwarf books.
I would recommend you watch the three shows it's based on first:

as a large proportion of the book is transcripts of these shows with billions of footnotes describing each bit. You do have to read the shows in his voice mind, as it doesn't work as well if you don't. That's why seeing the shows first is important.
That said, if you don't like him, you probably won't like this. But he does mention how after editing his TV show, he sympathises and completely understands people finding him tedious. Aaron.

Stewart Lee, the Emperor's new clothes of comedy. 
Saw Stew again last night at Leicester Square Theatre. He did three 25-minute sets in preparation for the new series of Comedy Vehicle. It was all excellent, as usual.
Though if you didn't like him before, you're not going to like him now. That said, he doesn't even want you watching, quite honestly, Team F...
