Hee. Might do that actually.

If it's a Developer, next door doing a refurb, to sell on or rent out, they won't care if you take much of this year's crop anyway I expect, though the workmen might consider the apples a perk-of-the-job.

I may wait till they've gone home, then accidentally pick up several armfuls of apples whilst going for a stroll through my vegetable garden.

If they have fallen off into your garden, I suspect they are now your property anyway, without doubt.

Can any London people tell me whether London Zoo is anywhere near the West End/

Fairly it's up the road from Camden Town which is right in the middle of the Northern line and the 274 will take you to Baker street.

Why do you ask?

Bored with your pandas already?

I'm not planning to visit - it's something I'm writing and I wanted to link the zoo with the West End if poss.

It's not really that close... I'd say it's not walkable (unless you're feeling fit)... and a bit of an annoying tube away.

OK. Thanks. That's one joke flattened. Angry

You can do it by 45 minutes along the canal

whats the joke?

About half an hour's walk from Oxford Circus, through Regent's Park.
