Nobody just does anything any more, it's always a 'journey'. Two days off with a bit of a sniffle - My Covid journey :(

Logging in to Scottish Power recently they keep sending me an e-mail with a clickable link which then takes me straight back to their site where it says "continuing your journey". Feck off, I'm just checking my gas usage.

I am awoken each morning by the local radio station and just after 06:30 they turn to a presenter to give local news.
She's as false as they come, exaggerated croak, the lot. And she talks as if reading from a book but one beat too slow.

Today though she made me actually laugh out loud while still in bed. She was talking about families struggling to pay their bills.
During this painful to listen to report she said 'some children are having to go bhat (pronounced bhart, a Yorkshire slang word for 'without)
