Series 6, Episode 1 - Outback Bound

Maud is ill and her husband, Ted, has asked Else if she would fly to Australia and nurse her sister back to good health. Alf is furious and forbids Else to go - but she is already packing her bags and Alf is alone for the first time in thirty years!


This episode is also known as Else To Australia.

Although he remains credited, George Tovey's sole scene in this episode was removed.
