Further details
Elaine C. Smith is one of the country's most-loved female comedy performers, famous for playing Mary Doll in Rab C Nesbitt and her BAFTA-winning performance as Christine in Two Doors Down. But the path to stardom wasn't written for a young trainee teacher from Lanarkshire. She had to cut her own path and became a trailblazing pioneer in a once male dominated industry and is now our undisputed queen of Scottish comedy.
Featuring a special interview with Elaine - and a raft clips from her roles on TV and in the theatre - and chats with other key people from her remarkable career including Alex Norton and more.
