Eyes Down

Ray finds himself in a rather sticky situation when his new boss - a particularly 'voluptuous' woman - drops in to inspect the hall's running. Christine soon finds herself with equal cause to regret the previous few days.

Carrie & Barry

Barry is bored. Bored enough to try on Carrie's clothes, stupid enough to get caught by his teenage daughter Sinead. This does little to cure Sinead's depression and step-mum Carrie's helpful suggestions of going shopping or waiting for Christmas aren't actually that helpful.

Kirk and Michelle also fail to cheer her up and only catching Carrie's sexual fantasy of being rescued by Barry dressed as a fireman can raise a smile.

Grumpy Old Men

From the tabloids' obsession with fabricated "celebrity", to newspaper columnists' belief that "their lives are interesting merely by virtue of the fact that they've written it down", the disgruntled ones stick their well-sharpened knives into the popular media.

Green Wing

It's Joanna's 48th birthday, something she is not keen on anyone else knowing about. Alan gives him a locket as a present, but there is something unpleasant inside it. Caroline discovers a league table of all the women in the hospital made by Guy, and Martin has trouble with his mother... whoever she is.
