Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe are to host a new Sky panel show pilot about TV.

As British Comedy Guide reported last month, On Demand is made by Talkback, who recently revived Never Mind The Buzzcocks for Sky, and is described as "a celebration of TV" that "sees comics, actors and personalities compete across a series of intriguing rounds to see who knows the most about telly".

Speaking to BCG last year after the publication of his memoir, Watching Neighbours Twice A Day...: How '90s TV (Almost) Prepared Me For Life, Widdicombe revealed that he "would love to turn it into something on television."

Tickets for the pilot episode of On Demand, recording at London's Riverside Studios next Wednesday, are available now.

Beckett and Widdicombe have already appeared as guests on Sky's existing screen-based panel show, There's Something About Movies, while the latter's new series Hold The Front Page, in which he and Nish Kumar try their hands at local journalism, begins on Sky Max tonight.

Beckett and Widdicombe's Parenting Hell is one of the UK's most popular podcasts and will begin a live arena tour of the UK in April, with work-in-progress dates from next month.
