Series 1, Episode 6

Max goes to visit old friend Billy 'The Butcher' Shannon who, against Paddy's better judgement, talks Max into letting him tag along for the ride.

Further details

Speed cameras everywhere cringe as Max and Paddy reveal their less photogenic side and throw one of the offending objects over a bush. Then it's off to see a different type of butcher, Max's ex-colleague and pal Billy 'The Butcher' Shannon. Obviously the clue is in the name; Billy is a half-witted yet psychotic ex-convict who manages to persuade Max into giving him a lift to search for son Tyson Lennox. It soon becomes clear that Billy adores Max but loathes Paddy, and dreams of replacing him as Max's significant other but 'not in a gay way'. Billy and Paddy are constantly at loggerheads and matters are only made worse when Billy holds up a roadside cafe in order to impress Max with a decent meal, while Max and Paddy unwittingly eat on. The trouble is, after their recent criminal activities, will the police believe the pair's intentions were purely culinary? And will Max have to suck the bullet from Paddy's derriere?
