Series 1

1. Three's A Crowd

First broadcast: Tuesday 14th August 1973

Flatmates Chrissy and Jo are somewhat startled to find a man asleep in their bath, the morning after a party to say goodbye to newly-married third flatmate Eleanor. As it happens, the stranger, Robin, is new to London and looking for a place to live.


2. And Mother Makes Four

First broadcast: Tuesday 21st August 1973

Chrissy's mother is due for her twice-yearly visit, but she's such a worrier about her daughter living in London, there's no way she'll understand having a man in the flat. Robin'll just have to stay out.


3. Some Enchanted Evening

First broadcast: Tuesday 28th August 1973

Jo's been seeing a very nice young man - too nice, in fact, and she's worried she's no longer attractive as he's not yet made a move on her. Chrissy decides that Robin cooking them a romantic meal is the best step forward.


4. And Then There Were Two

First broadcast: Tuesday 4th September 1973

Sparks begin to fly in the flat, but with two women and just one man, someone's bound to get in the way. When Robin heads out for a drink with old friend Larry, things get even more complicated!


5. It's Only Money

First broadcast: Tuesday 11th September 1973

Robin, Chrissy and Jo's day is thrown awry when their £80 rent money (last month's) goes missing from the flat. The police are called, but they still need to make up the shortfall to pay Mr. Roper.


6. Match Of The Day

First broadcast: Tuesday 18th September 1973

Robin's set to fill in for an injured friend on a small local football game, but falls sick in the week leading up to the match. Chrissy is determined to nurse him back to health.


7. No Children, No Dogs

First broadcast: Tuesday 25th September 1973

The flat's thrown into disarray when Robin's friend Larry leaves them with a puppy. With Mr. Roper strictly prohibiting all animals, the trio struggle to keep their new flatmate under wraps.


Short Insert: All Star Comedy Carnvial

First broadcast: Tuesday 25th December 1973

It's Christmas so Chrissy, Jo and Robin drop down to the Ropers' flat to wish them well. Predictably, Mr. Roper's entertaining leaves a lot to be desired.
