Dave has launched a new podcast alongside the second series of Late Night Mash.

Late Night Mash: The Podcast (Yes We've Got One Too) launches today, with the first episode of Series 2 debuting on the channel tonight at 10pm, fronted by new host Rachel Parris.

Hosted by the show's regular right-wing contributor Geoff Norcott and left-wing Russian-British comedian Olga Koch, each episode of the podcast will see the duo - "two comedians with completely opposing viewpoints on just about everything" - discuss the biggest questions of the day and tackle culture war issues.

Issues in Episode 1 include "Should comics be able to say anything they want?", "Is polyamory a real thing or just shagging about?", and co-opting opposite values.

The first episode of the weekly series, running alongside Late Night Mash on television, is now available through platforms including Acast, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube.

Dave tease: "Great Britain in 2022 is a nation divided (probably); the culture war rages across every town and every city (sort of). To help you choose, here is the Late Night Mash podcast (yes we've got one too) with Geoff Norcott and Olga Koch.

"Are you Team Geoff: Brexity, benefit claimants are scroungers, loathe identity politics unless it's obsessing about being British. Or Team Olga: all white men are evil, vegetables have feelings too, not even really British?

"In this show, we take the biggest culture war battles and play them out in front of your very ears. Will Olga and Geoff find anything they can agree about or will it all end in tears?"

Geoff Norcott says: "So they told me I was the new host of Mash but I should've listened harder because they also whispered 'podcast'. However, Olga is a fantastic comic and this show is a great opportunity for her to pick up some of my wisdom on cultural and political issues. The way I see it the TV show on Dave is a great side project to drive traffic to the podcast, which will form the core of the Mash brand from now on. When I first appeared on the show in 2017 who'd have thought that 5 short years later I'd be co-hosting a spin-off podcast. But seriously, I'm delighted for Rachel and once I'd got over my bitterness realised that - despite being a millennial - Olga is extremely funny and good company."

Olga Koch adds: "I'm looking forward to finally tapping into the elusive DILF demographic."
