Gone Fishing Series 5 start date
The fifth series of Gone Fishing starts next week on BBC Two.
Fronted by Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse, the comic angling travelogue returns with the first of a new run on Friday 9th September at 9pm.
Bob and Paul start the series by fishing the beautiful River Exe in Devon, looking for Grilse, also known as the 'summer silver'. After a day of limited success, they enjoy a game of cricket before having a go at some shore fishing at Bossington Beach in Somerset.
Episode 2 will see them venture to north Wales in search of grayling on the River Dee.
All four previous series are available to own on Blu-ray and DVD, as well as a companion book. Series 5 will be released in time for Christmas.
