Comic Strip stars to celebrate series at BFI
The BFI is presenting a trio of screenings later this month to mark the 41st anniversary of the iconic alternative comedy TV series, The Comic Strip Presents.
Occurring over the weekend of Friday 19th - Sunday 21st May, series stars including creator Peter Richardson, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Nigel Planer and Alexei Sayle will attend at take part in Q&A sessions.
All three events will be held at the BFI Southbank underneath Waterloo Bridge in Central London.

The ground-shaking impact of the Comic Strip's anarchic humour rattled the televisions of 1980s Britain, and when the smoke cleared they left a gaping crater that lesser comics are still falling into today.
Now, the first 37 episodes of The Comic Strip Presents and one of the film spin-offs, totalling over 26 hours, are collected in this 9 DVD box set, bursting with an array of extras.
This is a re-issue of the earlier 2005 box set, comprising every episode from 1982 to 2000.
