The second series of Late Night Mash is coming to Dave on Thursday 1st September.

Previous regular Rachel Parris will take over from Nish Kumar as host for the eight new episodes, running until the end of October.

Originally airing as The Mash Report for four series on BBC Two, the format was axed amidst low ratings before being picked up last year by UKTV channel Dave.

They say: "Each episode will be recorded the day before transmission to deliver topical insights and parody news reports from the dystopian parallel universe affectionately known as 'modern Britain'.

"Rachel will be joined by a special guest each week to help make sense of all the things that are happening in the world that probably shouldn't, as well as all the things that aren't happening that probably should."

Other regular contributors Steve N Allen, Ellie Taylor and Geoff Norcott are expected to return.

The series will air at 10pm each Thursday.
