Further details

Colin wastes a week off work by not writing anything decent. Alan Hunter invites Colin to a meeting to discuss a possible TV deal.

He attends the meeting but is out of his depth and understands very little of what is said. Hunter relieves Colin of his embarrassment as he explains in plain English what is wanted.

Colin fails to pick up Jen from an interview and feels guilty. Back in work the office are trying to find the file of a passenger who has sent them his lunch amongst other things in the past. Colin informs them that he's filed it in the 'no action required' file. They inform him that the passenger has just held up the 10.17 from Birmingham New Street.

Back at the flat Colin's writing is inspired by his hatred of his colleagues. However he is interrupted by the arrival of Stuart and Rosemary who Colin has forgotten have come to stay.

They bore Jen and Colin to death. Colin is particularly frustrated as he's been invited to the Zanzibar Club by Alan Hunter but can't go. In the end he loses his cool and goes anyway. Unfortunately Hunter does not.

Colin returns and apologises to Rosemary. She forgives him and tells Colin that Hunter is one of Stuart's clients.

In the office Colin has accidentally left copies of his treatment lying around so everybody reads about themselves. Graham is upset because he's not in it. Jen phones and reminds Colin that he's supposed to take her to an interview, however Hunter also calls to invite him around to his place. Colin pretends to be ill and gets a taxi to Hunters home. However he is very late and Hunter tells him he's not going to use his script.

When he arrives home Jen is furious as she was two hours late for her interview due to transportation delays. However she did get the job.

At the office Hunter calls to tell him that he's changed his mind and loves his idea. Colin says that he's gone off the idea but soon changes his tune when Hunter says he can only offer him ten grand for the script. If he wants the deal to go ahead he has to get around to Hunter's place immediately. Colin fakes another attack and an ambulance is called. However when he tries to get out of the ambulance to get to Hunters place Colin is restrained and carted off to hospital.
