Twelve gallons of mild in the fermenter and all the brewing equipment cleaned up and put away by 10:30 in the morning. I think that's a new personal record.

Anyone who can put away twelve gallons of mild before 10.30 in the morning is an honorary Englishman in my book.

We used to have chickens when I was a child.Funny things.If you were in the garden and they thought it was going to rain
they would come running to you and had to be led to their coop.

There's a farm behind my house. His fields back up to my garden and he keeps about 50 chickens to sell the eggs.
Every now and then we see a fox trotting by with one of the 50 in its gob.
