Oh yea. She had a smart sexy quality about her. She was ace in her other show A Different World. Another sitcom that I liked as a kid, realize now it wasn't the best..but still find myself watching it when its on.
NOTE: She's apparently got a role in the new US version of 'Life on Mars'. That's what IMDB says anyways.

Cheers was brilliant with Diane(blonde) and Coach. It went down hill when they were replaced by Woody and Kirsty Alley's character, whatever she was was called. Dianr reappeared in the final episode.

Not sure Mad About You ever got a screening on British terrestrial television. I liked it.
