Agree, but you're dissecting it, and I don't think that would bother the average "kiss me quick" hatted brigade out for a knees up, pint and dish of winkles on the front at Britain-on-Sea. :D

They would if they played Nap - I have a vague recollection that to call "Napoleon" was to play your lowest trump first. Haven't played it for years, and to call "Wellington" was to play no trumps.
