Watching this again between QI and MOTD.

Rod Stewart was an abomination. His voice really is shot.

Interesting though - when I was a kid I watched it with my dad and it was all about the survivors of wars up to 1945 so all about old people basically. Now though it's changed completely because most of those have gone now and it's about those poor kids being wasted in Afghanistan and other recent wars.

Favourite Cheers episode is when the got in a prank war with the bar that was closed.
