It's paedophillia. And you sign the sex register. Sex with a boy or a girl under 16 makes you a paedophile in Britain. Statutory Rape in most American states. Europe is more liberal. The age of consent is 14 in Germany, Iceland, Croatia, Lithuania, Bosnia, Austria and a few other places. It's 15 in France and 13 in Spain. In Austria, sex is permitted from the age of twelve if no penetration takes place.

YOu've missed the point (and with childish wailing about persecution i'm inclined to leave you wallowing in your inaccurate assumptions...however) The issue with sam fox was that there is a area between normal heterosexual desire and paedo desire. Sam fox at 16 is fair game but you don't have to look much younger to find yourself in paedo land. This area is far smaller than that which exists between gay sex and non-gay sex.

and its all very well giving your exact definition of paedophilia but MY original post was raising the issue of the sensitivity around the topic and someone with a load of pics of a 13 year old would be in big trouble...despite the proximity in age to that person and a 16 year old.

I didn't miss the point. GODOT TAXIS was saying that if you have sex with someone under the age of consent, then you go on "the register"; therefore you are a paedophile, before going on to list the ages of consent in different countries. I was saying that that wasn't true. I was siding with Manchester's Trendy Chorlton, that having a wank over Sam Fox at 16 isn't paedophilia.

I should think it very much depends on whether you're talking legally, or realistically.

Law is law. If it is illegal to look at something then accept it MLewis. You are not Judge & Jury. These laws have been set up to protect.
If the law changed to the legal age of 15 then so be it.
