I got into them when I got CBS sampler Rockbuster around 1970. It had a picture of Arnold Schwartzenegger on the cover. I bought several album on the strength of it. Santana, Argent, Edgar Winter etc but though I loved the track Uranian Circus I only bought these LPs about 2 or 3 years ago.
