Poor Nil. Console

So Newcastle got rid of Hughton who got the club promoted and has got some good results in favour of someone with more Premier experience.

More experience maybe but what has Pardew achieved?

^ Nice ^

I'm not a big football fan but Newcastle? They are out of their tiny minds. Hughton's not even been given half a season!!!! Madness.

Here here.

A five-and-a-half-year contract for Alan Pardew?

*snigger*

Why not give the bloke 2 years, then reassess the situation?

We all know what's gonna happen - he'll be sacked in 6 months' time, given a huge payoff, and they'll go looking for someone else.

Ridiculous state of affairs.

Seriously?

*Snigger* indeed.

Carrol and co. will go and Newcastle will go straight back down.

In his favour, he does have a "proper" English football manager's name. With a name like Alan Pardew he should really be managing in the 1970s. Preferably whilst wearing a sheepskin coat, tinted specs and smoking a large cigar. Oh, and stuffing his pockets with brown paper bags full of dodgy backhanders. :)

Mike Ashley really is a bellend is he not?

Maybe he's really got a deep hatred for them and wants to put them out of business - like if I ever took over Manchester United.

Does anyone here actually watch the SPL?

When I'm in Scotland yes.
But I don't have much choice.

Don't tell me!
Rangers or Celtic are top of the league right?
:D

No - I watch the RPL.

Breaking News: Houllier won't be at Villa park today, he's off to Newcastle to watch the Liverpool match.

See Big Mike knew what he was doing.
