It's called a taste of your own medicine - the rest of us have been experiencing it at the hands of United for years. Just a slight readdressing of the balance...

On Tuesday, City fined Tevez four weeks wages - about £1m

And people wonder what's wrong with football . . . . . Rolling eyes

Especially since he's played five games for City (3 as sub) since the FA Cup Final in May.

Carlos Tevez may sue Roberto Mancini:

If the judge asks him to approach the bench, he'll never shift him.

Laughing out loud That's a great gag Gerry.

Uniteds problem is clearly the midfield. Cleverley was missed greatly but he alone can't fill the void. It will tell you what a sad state the midfield is in when a young guy who just emerged as a first team player at the start of the season is the best midfielder.

That said I hate when teams attempt to buy the Premiership. Give Kidderminster Harriers £1 billion and they would be vying for the Premiership in a few years. Chelsea did it and now City are attempting to do it. Arsenal and United won it off their own bat not as a result of pumping millions upon millions of pounds into the club.

The only way you'll win the PL is by pumping billions into a club. The only team that can win it just by good management is Man Utd. Yeah, they've spent lots over the years but they've done it steadily instead of over 1 or 2 seasons like Chelsea or Man C.

To be fair to Arsenal that havnt spent that big at all to get where they are.

Sorry, but that's simply not true. Up until the last few seasons they consistently outspent everyone, for longer than either Chelsea or Man City have done. The reason it's not so immediately obvious is because they've generally spent money they've earnt through a well developed commercial side/large fanbase, rather than money a bored billionaire has chucked at them.
