Has anyone ever had any success with Radio Comedy? Page 2

Nothing wrong with Kirren Island, but in a thesis on how people succeed, maybe you need to go to whole hog?

Success doesn't happen overnight. There are stepping stones but no one path. A long essay of this nature should cover a diversity of different entry points and should certainly address the accessibility of the modern technology now, that has opened up whole new areas of presentation, pitching and initiating a professional and, hopefully and eventually, a successful dialogue with specialised and mainstream outlets, that is to say broadcasters.

First paragraph, Marc?

What do you mean, Paul?

Of the essay?

Oh. Lol. Well not really. Especially if he wants to get a distinction :)

The paper is thankfully completed.

I was writing about many paths to success in Comedy - radio, competitions, webisodes, going through an agent etc.

I have been in touch with many people. Some with great success (TV Sitcoms/films), some just starting the ladder - but I wanted to write from every perspective possible.

The content on the site proved useful, and some of the people in the forums certainly helped.

Based on your research Stefan, what would you say were the top five ways to breaking into some sort of success?

Is f**king the commissioner in there somewhere?

Can get you booted off shows for not.

Drunk the royalties again eh, why don't you just write about a cat burglar with a drink problem and copy them.
