I was strolling past Westminster Central Hall earlier where I was stopped by two smartly dressed gentlemen, the eldest of whom introduced his colleague as "Grant Shapps, Chairman of The Conservative Party." He continued by enquiring whether I lived in London and when I stated that I was a civil servant, revealed himself to be a former Minister, John Hayes. I therefore cannot wait until the beginning of purdah.

What is the weather like there at the moment?
Where I live it was 36c today.You kind of expect it in Summer but it is considered hot. We don't have proper Autumn (or winter really) but 36c in March is ridiculous.

3 weeks tomorrow (which is saturday) and will be away a month. Definetly up for a met up but not quite sure what dates I'm going to be in London just yet. Going to work that out over the weekend.
