Bought some of those new Walkers trial flavour crisps.

Ranch Raccoon with sour cream from Dorset.

Firstly how do they know what a ranch raccon tastes like - and how do Walkers replicate the flavour?

Anyway quite nice.

Just had Asda's chicken tikka marsala. Gear Man !

I read a recipe for a lovely breakfast wrap, so made it this morning: scrambled eggs, chorizo, avocado, chilli pepper, cinnamon and Lancashire cheese. Absolutely delicious.

I'd never had Lancashire cheese before, but it's incredibly tasty. I'll be having it with some ham in my sandwiches tomorrow.

Ham salad - Salad leaf mix, potato salad, hard boiled egg, tomato and er...meat.

Oh, and a huge dollop of Branston (small chunks!) pickle, and a spoonful of Mayo.

It was delishhh! :)

Tried celeriac for first time tonight. Wasn't sure what to do with it but ended up cooking it in butter substitute and salt and pepper. I have decided I rather like it.

Shredded with dijon mustard and mayonnaise
Celeriac Remoulade to you and me.
Delish with a hunk of crusty French bread

Down boy!

Had a Bounty earlier. Hadn't had one of them in ages. Lovely stuff.

Home made lasagnae as an experiment no onions, diced carrots and 50/50 chicken livers.

Very nice.

Wild boar paté and a glass of wine to fortify myself before dinner.

Oh swipe me!

Is dinner being served in The Long Room tonight or The West Dining Room?

Do I detect a note of jealousy, Oldrocker?

They are the best company for oven chips so I will have to give them a go. I am sure that it isn't really their fault that they share a name with a nut case in America. On the earlier point about Walkers, they must have fixed the competition in favour of Ranch Raccoon. All six of the flavours are approximate to those given to crisps before and it is the only one with a fairly interesting name. Still, I am sticking with cheese and onion.
