Ahh. Has that nasty man David sent you to bed with no supper den Nick?
Night, night and look out for the bogeyman.
Oh. It's alright Baby, Mr Farage is on the tele.

Dad's Army

I watched Great Expectations this afternoon, the black and white version with Sir John Mills and Alec Guinness. Very enjoyable.

Today I watched Vice Versa and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. It was a very '80s day.

'A Million Ways to Die in the West' funny in a laugh-inside way.

I thought it was really funny.

Yes. Enjoyed it

Of course :) Never miss it - highlight of Sat. night for me even though I have the complete box set, but oh dear, John Le Mez is looking very poorly. :(

The best version in my eyes and so much better for it in B&W, but why no "Sir" for Alec Guinness, Loopey? :(

An memorial service from Gallipoli. The commentators were explaining about ANZAC Day which is tomorrow.
Sort of weird to hear it explained as though to someone who doesn't know what it is.

Aw. I'm sure I'd heard the word a few times before on TV (ie Neighbours), but only really sank in what it was this week.

The Island. Interesting that one of the women is a vegetarian; what was she hoping to survive on? Was she thinking she could hunt a pack of vege sausages?

That's because most Brits have not got any idea what ANZAC stands for or Gallipoli.

I was going to add the Pogues version. Brilliant and so poignant.
