To say that Frank Spencer is a one-man walking disaster area would be somewhat of an understatement.
Although ever enthusiastic and well-intentioned, Frank is entirely feckless. An accident-prone, underachieving social misfit, he is loved by his wife and no one else; his will to keep going despite it being obvious to everyone else that he is making things worse is not too ingratiating a trait.
