A female-centred sitcom pilot for E4, being considered as a possible companion to The Inbetweeners.

The show is based around a Liverpool chip shop and will follow three women in their early 30s and recount their exploits over the course of a night out.

Written by Hollyoaks writers Heather Robson and Neil Jones, with additional material from Channel 4 comedy writers Tim Allsop and Stewart Williams, the pilot is directed by Ben Palmer, who directed The Inbetweeners.

Shane Allen, Channel 4's Head of Comedy, describes the show as "glossy, raucous, upbeat and excruciating." He also told Broadcast: "We're delighted with the script, it's bursting with great banter and some truly jaw-dropping set pieces. The cast are all really exciting and it's so good to be getting behind something female, funny and young for E4 to complement The Inbetweeners."

This sitcom project has likely been cancelled, as it is close to other pilots in development.
