Glenys finds out that Cyril's divorce came through 18 months ago (they have been engaged for six years) and is most annoyed at the deception! His rival, policeman Sergeant Dangerfield, thinks Cyril is molesting Glenys and puts him in hospital. Cyril's solicitor tells him that the copper is charging him with assaulting a police officer and Glenys for indecent assault.
