Facing eviction from their flat, Costello makes a promise to her daughter Iris that they will have a safe place to stay by nightfall. Selby is back in the free world after a stint in prison and keen to reconnect with Iris and Costello. Selby and Costello don't know if they can trust one another again, but as Costello and Iris's search for a place to stay grows more desperate, both Costello and Selby will stop at nothing to keep Iris safe in the crooked city.
