The series starred James Bolam (The Likely Lads), Peter Bowles (To The Manor Born) and Christopher Strauli (Raffles) as three congenital hypochondriac layabouts forever haunting the ward patrolled by the droll Doctor Thorpe (Richard Wilson - One Foot In The Grave).
