Assaults on staff at Luxton and District Traction Company lead to disgruntled staff demanding protection, and self-defence lessons are organised with Inspector Blake instructing. Stan and Jack attend, but more for the attractive females taking part than the combat! Stan soon decides that the lessons are a far more painful experience than anything hooligans aboard his bus can throw at him.
