Stan and the busmen of the Luxton and District Traction Company take karate lessons. Fortunately for them, their Inspector is an expert in the art.

Assaults on staff at Luxton and District Traction Company lead to disgruntled staff demanding protection, and self-defence lessons are organised with Inspector Blake instructing. Stan and Jack attend, but more for the attractive females taking part than the combat! Stan soon decides that the lessons are a far more painful experience than anything hooligans aboard his bus can throw at him.
