CelebAbility is returning for a fifth series, British Comedy Guide can reveal.

Production resumes shortly on the ITV2 comedy game show, with Iain Stirling expected to reprise his presenting role and Marek Larwood also tipped to return as the games' adjudicator.

Stacey Solomon appeared as the team captain for last year's fourth series but it is currently unclear if the Loose Women presenter is also coming back.

Debuting in 2017, the game show, in which celebrities compete against members of the public, has recorded 28 episodes so far.

Love Island narrator and ITV fixture Stirling, who appears in the third series of ITV2's The Stand Up Sketch Show and is making the coming-of-age sitcom Buffering for the channel, has just postponed his stand-up tour till autumn.

Failing Upwards will now begin on September 14th in Bristol, ahead of it being recorded for Amazon Prime on November 14th in London.

ITV have not responded to BCG's enquiries about CelebAbility's return.
