Nora Powers is the head of personnel at top City firm Ashvale Advertising. When her high-flying businessman husband George retires from his position at the top of a very successful chain of cafés, they both come to the quick realisation that he is not suited to doing nothing and needs something new to occupy his time.
A solution presents itself rather quickly when the Chief Commissionaire at Ashvale's office building is forced to quit through ill health. Much against Nora's wishes, it's just the position George has been looking for! For the girls in the typing pool, the Powers' new marital situation is a source of great amusement - and for Nora, great embarrassment!
This sitcom was created by the same writing duo that made That's My Boy, but the premise is unrelated.
